I am so excited! I just wanted to let everyone know about the new Bryan County History book that became available today. I received mine, and I am so pleased with it. It is a comprehensive history of Bryan County, the first this county has ever had. It has a documented narrative history supported by heavy use of primary source materials, including old family papers, letters and diaries, county land deed records, federal manuscript census data and local tax digests and cemetery records. This book would be of interest to any serious Georgia researcher, as a lot of settlers migrated from Bryan county. This book is being placed in many libraries throughout Georgia.
