Thanks for your message and the Sutton info. I can add a little to what you have. James J. and William M. married, lived and died in Emanuel Co. If you are interested in their children, I have a good bit of info on James and his family of 11 children. I have much more on the desc. of William who was my husband's g grandfather. I also have big gaping holes in the line. William died before the 1900 census (date unknown) from measles and probably pneumonia. A graddaughter related " He had measles and got wet and died in a few hours." In the 1900 census his children were all living with uncles, either James Sutton or Martin connections. Harriet had died by 1900 of TB. The cemetery of James's family as well as William and Harriet is Sim Warren Cemetery near Stillmore in Emanuel Co. She also said he had 4 brothers and 1 sister namely Ed, John, Jim and Winefield and sister Linda. Neither your list or mine has a John listed althought there is a John R. in Emanuel Co. at time of 1900 Census with wife Georgia and daugther Gladys b. Oct 1899. So at least some of the other children of James and Hulda should show up somewhere, just finding the right county is the problem. I do have one other problem with the James E. Sutton information. There is a marriage in Emanuel Co. for "Sutton James E. and Martin, Merendy Huldy on 1 Feb 1850" Wonder who he is? Enough to think about for a while? Pauline Eubanks
