In the Rootsweb archives about the Carter Cemetary, in Hazelhurst, Ga., there is a name listed as Mamie Carter, b. 21 May 1889, and d. 30 Aug 1890. Has anyone on this list found such a name or other information on this person? There's a good chance this might be one my great-grandfather's children since he also had a child that died early, killed with a gun accident. The parents would have been Robert (NMI) CARTER, and Josephine LIGHTSEY, of Liberty County, Ga. Any information on this line would be appreciated. Bob Carter Greensboro, NC
