My ggrandmother was Miriam Kennedy b. 1823 Tattnall County, Ga. d. 1859 Bryan County Ga. She married in 1836 William Strickland b. 1812 Tattnall County, Ga. d. 1865 Richmond Va. Miriam was the daughter of Edward Kennedy b. 1775 in NC and Candacy ? Edward Kennedy married two or three times and had at least 20 children. Most of the Kennedy's in Tattnall and Bryan County descend from Edward Kennedy. Several of his sons and daughters settled in Bryan County and Bulloch County. Mary Exley
