Lewis was my gg-grandfather. He married Mary Wesson. Their son, John, my g-grandfather, married Mary McGill. Their son, Willie, married Ruth Norris, and they were the parents of my mother, Connie. The family eventually ended up in Madison Co., FL. The reason I was drawn to your query is because I have heard my mother mention a Sophronia who was her cousin if I'm not mistaken. I will go back and ask her about that. Althought the Sophronia in Jesse's and Eliza's home would surely have preceded my mother's time, it could be a family name passed down.
