I need to find where four grandparents are buried. If you can help me I would appreciate it very much. 1. My grgrgrandfather Camillus{Melus} Thigpen was pastor of Bethel Church [later called Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church] 1833-35. He was pastor of Bethany Church from 1835 until his death18 January1839. I do not know where Bethany Church is in Brooks County. How happy I would be to know where he is buried! His wife Sarah Whaley Thigpen died 15 July 1866. 2. My great grandfather Irvin James Lewis died 26 September 1849 in Brooks County[ it may have been Lowndes at the time] He and his wife Susan Thigpen Lewis were married in Bethlehem Church [probably in Lowndes County] She died 10 August 1900. Bethlehem Church is the only church as far as I know related to them. Do you know where this church is located? I don't know where either one of these great grandparents are buried. There are no family members left who might know these four are buried or where the churches are. I would appreciate any help you can give me. How foolish I was not to ask the proper questions of my Mother while she was alive! By the way, my grandparents Wiley Melus Lewis and Ophelia Folsom Lewis lived on the Tallokas Road north of Quitman. You mentioned that road. Thanks again for any help you can give me. Ernestine --part1_fe.4ee1427.280cb00a_boundary--
