Mauldin, who were married 8/18/1880. They had three children, Claude Dixon, b. 1/6/1882, Maude Gertrude, b. 1/11/1884 and Eli Colon, b. 1/12/1886. I know that Maude was born in Brooks County, and that Elizabeth was probably born in 1856 and passed away 7/3/1888. Maude Gertrude's 1st husband was Hiram Hilliard and her second husband was John James Johnson (10/20/1871-3/23/1936). Maude had 4 girls and 2 boys with Hiram Hilliard, who died around 1916, Lille Mae, Lillian, Florence, Elizabeth, Hiram Jr. and John Henry. Maude married John James Johnson on 9/22/1917 and had 4 girls, Claudia, Beulah, Hattie and Annie. Maude died in Waycross and I believe she lived there most of her life.
