Virginia Lowery Williams MOULTRIE -- Virginia Lowery Williams, 86, of Moultrie, died Monday, July 2, 2001, at Magnolia Manor. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, in the old side of Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Wills officiating. Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Thomas Marshall and Roxie Russell Lowery. She had lived most of her life in Brooks County, where she worked as a clerk for Carmichael's Dept. Store. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Moultrie. Survivors include a daughter, Margie (Robert) Tadlock of Moultrie; sons, Sherman (Eleanor) C. Williams Jr. of Mobile, Ala., and Jack (Terri) Williams of Irving, Texas; seven grandchildren, DeeDee Graham, Doug Williams, Kliftin Nygaa, Robyn Williams, Shannon Childers, Rob Tadlock and Marcie Tadlock; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Clanton of Clearwater, Fla., and Frances Myers of Valdosta; and brothers, Bill Lowery of Atlanta and Louie Lowery of New Jersey. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home in Quitman is in charge of arrangements.
