He was a very influential person in the community back then and I believe he was a preacher, lawyer, and judge. I think he also owned a store in the Morven area. The reason I'm trying to find out infomation on this man is because my 2nd great grandfather and granduncle (Issac and Augustus Miller:Black Indians) owned almost 1000 acres of land that bordered Lowndes and Brooks county. It was adjacent to the little river and Miller bridge road (lots 180 and 189). I have researched the deeds and there were 2 men who owned the land before them. John and Aaron Miller (who may be my relatives). Hamilton Sharpe was a guardian for John and Aaron, and they bought the land with his help.
