My ggrandfather John William Griffin was born in Brooks County, Georgia between 1871 and 1874. His father according to his birth certificate was also a John. John William moved to Florida as a young man and stories I've heard are that they are related to the Weeks Family. I can find no information connecting these two families. However, in Florida some Griffins and Weeks and buried in the same cemetery of Wild Cow in Sumter County. Any information or leads would be appreciated.
