He had a sister Hallie and three brothers HW, JD and JI. If anyone has info on his ancestry I would appreciate knowing about it. Thanks.

    3. Scott, you didn't give your g grandfather PEACOCK's given name. I checked the index of "A Survey of Brooks County Cemeteries", "Brooks County Georgia: Echoes of Its People, Vol. I" and Brooks County Georgia: Echoes of Its People, Vol. II" for the PEACOCK surname. There are numerous listings in each book. I just received my copy of Volume II this week from the Brooks County Genealogical Society. Since I'm taking care of my 3-month old grandson for two weeks, I haven't had time to read it yet. It is a wonderful addition to my research library. I'm anxious to "explore" its contents. All of these books are available for use at the Brooks County Library in Quitman, GA. You can still purchase this new book by visiting the Brooks County, GA website. They have an order form you can print, fill out, and mail to them along with $44. Let me know the given name of your g grandfather. I will be happy to see if he is listed in any of the resources I have.
