He was in an accident in Brooks County GA in Sep 1934. He died 15 Sep 1934 from complications from the accident. His death certificate says that he is buried in Barwick Cemetary in Barwick GA. A family Bible says burial was in Morven GA. He went by Jack Carter. I would really love to find an obituary and/or an article about the accident.
