Cindy, I don't know that a funeral home as such existed in the area 1916-1920. In most cases the deceased was "laid out" at home. The undertaker if any prepared the deceased at the same place. Pavo is on the border of Brooks and Thomas Counties and was and still is a very small community. I am copying the Brooks and Thomas mailing lists and an aunt and a first cousin with a good deal more detailed knowledge of such things. I welcome any additional input.
