The only info I have found so far on Elijah is from the census. According to Alabama 1860 and 1870 census he must have been born about 1832/1833 in Georgia. Elijah E. Bryant married Martha Jane Borden on June 10, 1856 in Benton County, Alabama. One of my cousins spoke to one of the Borden old timers in the Benton/Cleburne County, Alabama area and he seems to think that they may have migrated back to Georgia about 1880-1885. Elijah and Martha had the following children, John, Mary, Benjamin, Charles(?), Joanna and Lucinda. There is one entry in the online family tree for an Elijah Bryant born Hall County, GA in 1832 with parents Augustus Bryant and Mary Ann (Polly) Pirkle. I have hit a big brick wall with this. Any help will be appreciated
