Supposedly an Arthur R QUICK was born in Richmond County, NC in l878. He married Mattie Mae WEBB who was born l Jan 1875 in Moultrie, GA in adjoining county. My info states that Arthur R QUICK died 6 March 1932 in Quitman,GA and was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Barney, GA.They had 11 children Gary, Andrew J "Jack", Henry Edward, Katherine, Arthur Franklin, Travis, Barney Bruce, Woodrow S, and Margaret Magdalene b 26 April 1920. Margaret married Jack WATSON (in GA or NC?) and they came to NC to Gaston County and brought Mattie QUICK back with them where she died 29 April 1966. There is a QUICK list which is for descendants of QUICK that came from Marlboro County, SC which joins Richmond County, NC.
