I saw your query on Stansell and saw that Barden is one of your surnames. My father was Daniel Barden, his father was John Barden, his mother was Harriet Parker Barden. My father married my mother who was Alma Florence Melton daughter of James and Elizabeth Cliffs Melton. My parents were from the Brooks County area. When I was growing up there was a lady that I callled Aunt Annie Mae (Stansell). Her husbands name (who I don't remember) was Ben Stansell. I don't know much about him but my older sisters might. I know my mother told me that Annie Mae was not really my aunt but that Ben was a cousin to my father. I think I have that right. What is your connection to the Bardens and the Stansells?
