I've added another couple of thousand names to my Georgia Civil War Soldiers Index since my last update last November. The new names are now on line at http://www.researchonline.net/gacw/updates.htm These names are predominantly men who served in Cavalry, Artillery, Militia, and State Troop units who are not included in Henderson's Roster of the Confederate Soldiers of Georgia. My master index now contains approximately 28,000 names that are not found in Henderson's Roster. This weekend I visited the Lebanon Church Cemetery located at the intersection of Monument Church Road and Dairy Road in Brooks County. Does anyone have any history on that church?
