The name Alexander came from Alexander Doniphan connected to the Travis family and Darlington is a town in South Carolina where Jeptha Vining founded a church. Jeptha Vining being my gggg grandfather and they named him after the man and the town. Also Jeremiah is a family name and I don't have in front of me but its from the Vining family Jephtha's son Harmon was my ggg grandfather and his wife was Margaret Vining daughter of Jeptha a prominent minister.
