Hello Carolyn, I am also researching the Georgia Cherry Families. There are several lines of Cherrys in Georgia with no proof to connect them: My William Cherry (bNC 1804) and his brother Riley were in Washington County, GA c 1835, then to Houston County, Ga to meet Spencer Cherry, who we believe is a brother. Other Cherrys were in Wilkinson County, Ga during the same time. Abner, Lemuel, Joel, Hilliard, Joseph were in Bibb-Houston Counties. Some of them were actually in the portion Houston County that became Bibb County, Georgia from memory. That would need to be double checked.
