Wells, a clerk in the employ of H.B. Adams & Co. committed suicide Monday morning at eight o’clock, at Adams’ house in Vineville. He shot himself with a thirty-two caliber revolver, the ball entering above the right ear. He died at ten o’clock. Poor health and financial embarrassment are given as the causes of the deed.
