Hi everyone, Is anyone working on Spanish American War Veterans in the Macon, Bibb County, GA area? My Grandfather, William Conrad Bucher who was born in Macon in 1879 was in the Spanish American War. I was going to order his military records but he wasn't an officer. I'd love to see more about the Spanish American War on-line. Here's a couple of things that we do have.... mainly from newspaper clippings of the time. Does anyone know what the Washington Memorial Library in Macon might have on this? They are so good, it might be worth checking with them.
