Sandra, Darien and I are trying to find information on Isaiah Johnson. We know from Estate papers that his middle initial is B. In the old fashioned handwriting, the I and B look very similar. There are several instances in the salt records and Confederate information, that we see a JB Johnson or Mrs JB Johnson mentioned. Are there any descendants of this Mr and Mrs JB Johnson out there?? Is it possible that these Salt lists were transcribed as JB instead of IB, does anyone know if the originals were still available? Also the originial list for the Crosses of Honor? We would appreciate any assistance with this query. Thanks Gaila
