Hi everyone, My Grandfather, William Conrad Bucher was a good friend of Sam Dobbs. I think Grandpa was the soda jerk who worked at the Pharmacy that sold Coca Cola. If anyone has a biography of Sam Dobbs I would appreciate the information, especially his birthdate. I just discovered that Asa Candler was born the same year as my great grandmother. I'm making a time-line of events before my trip to Macon and am looking for when and where Grandpa worked for Coca Cola. I have several letters from Sam to him over a period of several years. Also, if anyone is researching Sam Dobb's family, I will be glad to make copies of the letters and send them. The originals were sent to Coca Cola many years ago.
