Samuel Owens b.1806: d. ? : married 1824 to Rebecca Griffin b.1801; d.1894 in Greenville, Al. She was the daughter of John W. Griffin; b. 1775-79: d. 1847: married Jane Rial in 1799 in Ga. Samuel and Rebecca lived in Ga. Don't know what county. They had four children: Franklin b. 1821: William Dennis b.1825: John Albert Owens b. 4-10-1828: d.4-10-1900 (my ggrandfather) who married Jane C Senn b.8-26-1833: d.11-30-1894: on 6-21-1853 in Marion County, Ga.( They both lived and died in Greenville, Al) and Samuel and Rebecca's last child was Sarah Ann Jane Owens b.1831. Samuel then died in his early thirtys. Rebecca then married a Robert G.W. Bond on Dec.10,1838 and had the following children: Caroline Bond b.1840: Robert Bond b.1842: Sarah Jeanette Bond b.1844: Mary Bond b.1846: and Jeremiah Bond b.1848. Rebecca Owen Bond then moved to Greenville, Al. where she lived with Franklin and William Dennis Owens til her death. I am! searching for parents' names of Samuel Owens and any other information.
