    3. does anyone know who woman might that the Reporter might have talked to?? I think this is a wonderful project and want to help Dianne out in any way we can on this list. Subject: story follow-up Fort Hill Cemeteries Date: Tue, 28 May 2002 14:24:11 -0400 A few weeks ago, one of 13WMAZ's reporters talked with a woman in Fort Hill who could not get to her mother's grave because of heavy overgrowth. It seems her small family plot is just across the street from the Fort Hill city cemetery. The city, of course, cleans the area inside the fence. "Mama's grave," is on private property, so the city can't officially clean it. I'm teaching Early American Literature for summer quarter, and at the request of a researcher (in another state) have agreed to take our college students to physically survey Fort Hill Cemetery (collect all epitaphs, and written information still visible on headstones and historic markers) on Saturday, June 29th. My students, mostly working professionals (this is a lunch class on base) would like to contact the woman and clean her mother's gravesite while we survey the city cemetery. Do you have a way to contact the woman? I'm copying this message to the city, so we can properly coordinate the event with Public Works or related departments.
