I'm researching a dissertation about professional boxers and one of the few for whom I still have no birthdate is a fighter born in the town of Macon, Georgia. His name was Jeff Merritt, a heavyweight contender in the 1960's and 1970's. I have an unconfirmed listing of his being born on January 1, 1946, but I was hoping to get something more solid.
