Meredith McCoy married Mary E Blount on Nov 21, 1858 and had the following children: Bryant Eugene Aug 1860; Sarah Nov 1861; Joseph M. Sept 1866; Meredith Jun 1875; Laura Sept 1878; Minord May 1880, Julia ?; and O. S. ? This family lived for some time at 715 Second Street in Macon, GA. Some of them are buried at Riverside Cemetery in Macon. Meredith McCoy's parents were Charles M. and Julia Statham McCoy from Houston County, GA. They are buried in the McCoy Cemetery on Houston Rd in Centerville, GA. Meredith wrote to his Crutchfield cousin in AL on April 19, 1883 that he had a Post Office 5 miles south of Echeconne Creek which would be around the Warner Robins Mall today.
