DICKERSON at the Washington Memorial Library. The cemetery at that time was referred to as Ft. Hill: "J. E. Dickerson Following an illness of several weeks, J.E. Dickerson, 58 years of age, died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock at his home on First Street. Besides his widow, he is survived by four daughters: Misses Annie, Nora, Lillie, and Mabel Dickerson: and three sons: Guy and Charles Dickerson, of Macon, and Luther Dickerson, of Lavonia. The funeral will be held this morning at 9:30 o'clock from the late residence on First street. Rev. Herman C. Jones, paster of First Street Methodist Church, officiating.
