Some of my Surnames are Bivins/Bivens, Armstrong, Kitchens, Ransom, McCrary, Pitts and maybe even a few Blounts and Comer's . I have found information as far back as 1870's until 1956 for my family in Twiggs, Jones, Houston and Bibb Counties for Ancestors. Seeing as how my great great grandparents had at least 8 children, my great grandma was listed on the census as having 15 children I figured there must be some kinfolk still around some where in Georgia. A lot of folks left there and I am sure a lot didn't. In any event I have been unsuccessful in finding any long lost cousins during my constant searches and using message boards. I figured that since so many families grow from marriages that there are branches that I don't even have an inkling about. This brings me to the conclusion for my theory of all African American Descendants who are searching for lost family members to add their Family Surnames to an on going list. Everyone who is African American and searching for some one , would you please add your names to a reply to this message, and all others do the same as a reply each time. I just can't help but think that some of us will indeed find one another more sooner than later. Thanks to all that participate.
