Constable Warner went to arrest him, but he was too badly hurt to walk, so he took him behind him on his Texas pony and brought him to East Macon for trial. W. G. Davidson stood his bond until Tuesday next. His death is noted in the 24 February 1875 issue of the Macon Telegraph. His father, W. M. died a few months later, in May 1875. I would think/hope that both of them were buried in the same cemetery.

M. Harris. He was buried by the Franklin Lodge (#2) of Odd Fellows. Members of United Brothers' Lodge #5 and Germania Lodge #59 were invited to participate. Harris was an "old" employee of the Central railroad. Query: WHERE was he buried?? The above newspaper notices are all I have since death records didn't begin until 1919 in GA. The injured are J.C. Thomas, Sr., Elliott Thomas, aged 12, and Merreal Kethvin, aged 14 years. The members of the family were gathered on the front porch of their home watching the storm.
