Married Louisa Ellen Benton of Macon, Bibb County, GA on 21 Jun 1865. His wife was born 8 Nov 1846 and died on 27 Dec 1936. She is buried in Macon's Rose Hill Cemetery. Lemuel is belived to have served in both the 1st Regiment, Georgia Infantry (Olmstead's) and 63rd Regiment, Georgia Infantry during th Civil War. I am trying to locate Lemuel's exact date of birth and death and whre he is buried. Any information would be greatly appreciaed.
