I am the great-granddaughter of the William H. Hunnicutt you refer to. His daughter, Alice Inez Hunnicutt Long, was my grandmother. Uncle Dick Hunnicutt was her brother. I would appreciate a copy of the family tree you refer to. Although I have a good deal of information, I am still missing some. I will gladly share what I have with you. Please email me at bdyarbrough@aol.com. Thanks!

Surnames: Young Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ea.2ADI/382.2 Message Board Post: I have a William Woodson Young that was born in GA and married a Olive Winfield and had a daughter, Mary Young born in Bibb, GA., abt 1843. I am trying to find Woodson Young's father. One report is his father was Thomas Young the wheelright that came on the ship with Gen. Oglethorpe to Savannah in 1734. I am trying to verify that. I need to find Woodson Young's siblings also. He and his wife left Bibb, GA and came into Alabama and on in to Mississippi when it was opened up in 1837. Woodson shows up on a poll tax list of 1837 and the 1940 Census with his wife and a larger family of children. Also, a James Young also shows up on the Poll Tax list but I don't know how they were related because no one is alive to give me that information any more. Any information you can share will be greatly appreciated. You can email me at dee@pa.net.

    1. Old City Cemetery - Macon
    2. Virginia Crilley
    3. Jimmy is taking photographs of some of the tombstones in Old City Cemetery... so I thought we might see if we could find out more about the people buried there. These are some very OLD stones, so I am very grateful that Jimmy is taking photos of them before they deteriorate more. The listing we have was done by Ben Phillips.... so take a look, and if you have time to help me by looking for some of these families, I'd appreciate it. Sometimes I've had good luck posting on a surname board ...just telling the information from the cemetery, and asking if anyone is related to them.
