Hello, My name is Dan Fulghum and I'm new to the list. I am trying to track-down information on my Great-Great-Grandfathers (Rev.) Uriah Parker and Marvel McLendon. Both eventually moved to Bradley County, Arkansas. Uriah Parker was born in Georgia in 1797 and was a veteran of the War of 1812, the Mexican War, and led Parker's Cavalry in the Civil War. I have hit brick wall after brick wall in attempting to find the parents and lineage of Uriah. I would appreciate any help. Dan Fulghum Houston, Texas -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. We should not approach death with fear and trembling, repenting and weeping over such things as we left undone, or such things as we should not have done. We should rest assured we have done our best with the gifts and the limitations that were ours, and that our condition in the presence of the Creator will be governed by our record and behavior here. Therefore, let us sing our Death Song, and go out like heroes going home."
