    3. >Now tell me something.. . What are the basics of setting up a website for a beginner like me. But I dont know the first thing about getting started. Please give me some tips. Thanks Kat< Kat, I will talk more about this off list, lest we bore to tears those who aren't interested in building a webpage. <Big Grin> Briefly though, it would depend on how much of a beginner you really are. When I first built mine I had no knowledge of writing html. I bought the book by Sams "Teach Yourself HTML-4 in 24 Hours" I was hooked after the first chapter. Built my whole website by typing it myself. It was great fun typing the stuff in notepad then, seeing how it 'magically' turned into a webpage when viewing in my browser. Then I got FrontPage 2000 later, and mostly use it now, cause it is faster. On the free sites, like I have mine at geocities, you have to put up with the ads, but they offer onsite webpage wizards that supposedly walk you through each step of building a page. There are other free webspace hosts as well. I think most of them offer these webbuilding tools A search in Google should help you find some. I'm gladly willing to try and help you step by step if you want, and would only be an email away. Sharon
