Just back from Nashville, Berrien Co, GA & trips to the Courthouse.... I cannot say enough good things about the good folks in Probate Court - they couldn't have been more friendly or helpful! If you all remember, I'd asked where the Courthouse was located & how were the people that worked there - you told me they were nice & friendly - you were so right! My thanks go to Susan W. Griner, Probate Judge and also to her father, Mr. John Patten Webb, Sr......I will always remember their kindness & helpfulness & patience in helping my husb & I find records, make copies & then to "talk" of family! Found out that Mr. Webb is a cousin of my cousin's wife, so then it was truly "old home week!" I realize how far I am from my "roots" in South Georgia when I get out of Atlanta & make a trip down South - it is truly God's Country & His People & they are not too busy to remember that!
