Kathy, I have that they married about 1820. As to where I can only guess. I would say Burke or Montgomery county. John and Nancy had four children, William C. Ivey who married Mary Ann Hesters, Their children were Elizabeth, Nancy, Jane, Joseph, Sarah, and John. Jane Ivey who married John Micajah Griffin, Joseph Counsel Ivey, and Hester Ann Ivey who married Cader Hancock. Nancy has four more children Robert Ivey, Malinda Ivey, Ashley Ivey and Sion H. Pike.
