Warm Greetings to All, I will miss Colleen's gift for writing such beautiful and inspiring messages. She is a very good list manager and I feel sure all of her lists will hate to see her go. I know you all join me in wishing her the very best on all her endeavors. I have been granted the honor of adopting the GABERRIE list. I have been a subscriber for a while; and know this to be a wonderful group. Some of us share several lists, I enjoy that, even if we do often receive duplicates of each other's mail. *Grins* We get to know each other better, and know what names to be on the lookout for to send each other's way. It indicates to me, that our kinfolk must have traveled similar paths, as we are. If we haven't already, we may discover a connection down the road. I look forward to us all discovering, sharing, and rejoicing over family 'treasures' together. Lamenting those brick walls...it is so much better when we have someone to listen to us, who understands. So don't hesitate to write to us anytime, and let us know who you are, who are you frustrated about not finding in Berrien County, or what piece of information you really need to find. Don't ever give up. We never know what new cousin may have just gotten a computer and signed up for some genealogy.*VBG* And be sure, when you DO find some new bit of family information, to come back to us and share your wonderful news! It helps to encourage us to keep the faith. If I can ever help any of you with problems with your subscriptions, just write me. I will help in any way I can. Three of my known family ties to Berrien County are maternal lines of TISON, AMMONS, and BOYD. I live in North Florida. All of my known 'direct' lines came from the Carolinas into Georgia eventually ending up here in North Florida.
