I am looking for the grave site of my grandfather, James Bennett Bowen, who went by JB Bowen and Jim Bowen. He passed away Oct 13 1921 in Nashville, Berrien County, Georgia and per his death cirtificate he is buried at the Empire Cemetery in Berrien County. I went there a couple of years ago but could not find a head stone and would like very much to put one on his grave. My being a Bowen, I know nothing of my Bowen Family, except what I have found in the census. James's was born in Jeffereson County, Georgia, his father was Zackadurham Bowen also born in Jefferson county, Georgia. James Married Lillie Annie Laura Wood. He was a telegraph oper., and the family member that signed his death certificate was His brother William Bowen? If there is anyway you could help, I would be so very gratefull. You can e-mail me at rbowen3@ec.rr.com thanks Nick ==== GABERRIE Mailing List ==== To post messages to the Berrien County, GA discussion list, send them to GABERRIE-L@rootsweb.com ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
