I have just begun researching my Sullivans and do not have much to go on. But here is what I have: William Dempsey Sullivan b. 1882 d. 1956. His children were: Bertha, Jack, William Jr., Margaret, John L. and there could be more, but I dont know yet. He settled in Brooks county Ga, which is just a few miles south of Tift county. I will have to do more research on Martha V. Sullivan. Alot of my Sullivans offspring lived in Tifton.So that could mean there might have been a family link there. In fact I know that John L. is buried in New River cemetery there. Im planning a trip over to Tifton the next time Im in Ga. to look at cemeteries there. Tell me where this Turner cemetery is located exactly. I feel like Martha V. Sullivan could have been the mother of my William Dempsey Sullivan or somehow closely related. Lets both keep searching with this info and see what we can come up with. If I find any info I will post it.
