H Jones died in the Civil War - I do not remember the details, but the 2 names caught my eye - (as I had an Uncle - Henry H. Jones from Milltown/Lakeland, Berrien/Lanier Co, GA much later.....who mar my Dad's sister, ELIZABETH (HOWELL) JONES.....of whom you & I spoke, Jennifer....Also the GRINER name caught my eye, as that is the name of the present Probate Court Judge in Berrien Co, GA - whom I just met in Nov..... I checked my index for Griners. I don't know that this information will help anyone but maybe someone can help me fill in some missing information on these people. My main surname search is on Thomas and Hester Ann Clark Lindsey. Some how or another these Griners have ties with the Lindsey family. I have a Gabe Griner who married Claudy Anna Lindsey. She was the daughter of Benjamin Morgan Lindsey and Cynthia McCrainie. I have no information on Gabe. I have a Leroy Griner who married Verdie Belle Connell. I have no information on him. Also a George F. Griner who married Ocea Lindsey on October 26, 1902 in Berrien County. Her parents are Joseph Layayette Lindsey and Elizabeth Tyson. They were married February 6, 1876 in Berrien county.
