    1. [GABERRIE] SULLIVANs
    2. Well Im real sorry to tell you that I dont know alot about the Sullivans. I do know I have many Sullivans in my linege, but I have not done enough research to tell you anything. Alot of my Sullivans did live in the Tifton area. Some lived in Brooks county. My paternal grandmother was a Sullivan. She married William Dempsey Sullivan, and her mother was Rachel Edenfield Sullivan. They were both born back in late 1800's but they lived and died in Brooks county, Quitman Ga. Thats all I know about them. My grandmothers siblings were: William, Edna, Bertha, John L. and I know there was more but I dont recall their names. I do know John L.Sullivan lived in Tifton in 1964 cause he shot and killed his 58 yr old wife there in a cotton mill. What a shame that was. I need to do more research on these people. Im sure our lines connect I just dont know where. Go to the Surname Sullivan website on Rootsweb.com and place a query and see if anyone can help you better than me. I recently found my great grandmothers grave in Turner cemetery just outside of Tifton, Georgia. Her name was Katie Lee Sullivan Mullis, born December 9, 1890, died April 20, 1908. Married to Jesse R. Mullis. I know she died in child birth but nothing more. She is buried next to Martha V. Sullivan do not know the relationship she was born March 26, 1863, died September 26, 1890. Any help on either of these two would be greatly appreciated.
