There were 15 districts in Berrien County in 1930, so my work will be broken up into five volumes. I have finished the first three volumes (districts 1-9), and these are now available for purchase. I am almost finished with volume 4 (districts 10-12) and hope to be finished with the final volume (districts 13-15) by the beginning of summer if not before then. Each volume is indexed, and each entry includes the person's name, relation to head of household, sex, race, age, place of birth, parents' place of birth, and occupation. As a companion volume to the census I have compiled the front page headlines from The Nashville Herald in 1930. With this also is a list of the local businesses who were regular advertisers with The Herald. When the census is completely transcribed, I plan to have a master index of all five volumes available as well.
