I just found out that one of my Washington, County, TN folks died in Cassville, GA, May 7, 1848. My information is that his son died the same day. He was a Presbyterian minister. I have no idea whether they had actually relocated to Bartow Co or if they were traveling through. James McLin's wife remarried a man in Washington Co, TN, so she either was not on the journey, or returned home after he died. I have his birth date as October 12, 1794, and marriage as May 21, 1821. His son, James McCord McLin, would have been a young man. Does anyone have easy access to death records for that time period? Pat Sabin
