Hi! I'm looking for researchers of Dr. Homer V.M. MILLER who was living in Cass/Bartow Co in 1844. In that year he was appointed as one of the executors of Lindsay OGLESBY's estate, and was left in charge of 7 of Lindsay's slaves. Lindsay had willed these slaves to his nephew (Lindsay MORGAN of Chambers Co, AL), to be kept in Cass Co under the care of Homer V.M. MILLER until the nephew reached legal age. I'm looking for any records of these slaves (Louisa, William, John, Jim, Barnett & Adeline), especially any info on if/when they were transferred to Lindsay MORGAN in Chambers Co, AL.
