There were in fact 9 William Vaughn's listed in Lillian Henderson's rosters and the one from the Chreokee Legion was not included - making 10 The 21st - Co. C was fromed from Fulton County, and the 31st Co. F was formed from Pulaski, so that's not much help - although the 31st Co. E was formed from Bartow. The Cherokee Legion rosters are a part of that group of service records on microfilm which have not been transcribed - rolls 578 - 579 in this case. I have extracted the names and confirmed that William is on the roll of Co. B, but I have not read the service records yet to be able to give any other details.
