Does anyone know if there has access to marriage records for the years 1850-1855? I am looking to find the marriage record of my gggrandparents, James C. Smalley and (Nancy) Elizabeth Witherspoon. I would be so grateful if anyone can tell me how I would go about finding out the exact date and location (city) of their marriage and his parents' names, if that is included. Also, if there are any deed records for them in Bartow County in those years (or after) I'd appreciate finding out that information. I am in Texas and am kind of new to this aspect of genealogical research so I'd appreciate any help I can get!!!
