This wasn't actually sent from the list. Rootsweb doesn't allow attachments. It was from a member of the list and the subject was "re:" a message I had sent earlier to the list. So, at first glance you think it is from the list. I have no proof that the attachment contained a virus. I did not dload it. But it is very much like the attachment that I got a while back. The name of the virus I got was W32/Badtrans. You can go to Mcafee.com and find out about it. And, again, the person on the list sending was not really sending it. She should scan her computer for viruses, though. The virus is getting in her address book and sending itself out.
