I had heard it had been written about they listed several names along with a Sarah Towers. Well I went to see it for my self for I have long looked for my Sarah A. Towers and her family. To make a long story short, I found it but with great difficulty, tucked behind a subdivision and and a Farm with no drive way to it. I believe it may have been originally named Shaw cemetery. I am reporting the condition of it as of June 2001. I found it partially burned all but one piece of a wooden marker left and a handful of stone markers. My Sarah her husband William Benjamin Franklin Towers there two daughters Mattie Hicks and Maggie Hillburn their husbands and two of their children Paul and Alice. Luckily Sarah's parents John and Catherine Shaw. The only other graves are Self, Straight, and two more Shaws. Sadly the others mentioned in the earlier news article were not found. I did find a couple names the news article missed. The farmer whose land it connected to went to court just as he saw it was being burn and bulldozed to hault it's distraction, he successfully purchased the 6 acres need to preserve it. Such and good soul for he has no one buried in this cemetery nor dose he know of any of those families in it. I thank you Mr. Phillips. I photo graphed all that was there.
