I notice quite a few Lumpkins in this listing of the Macedonia Silver Greys. Was that a common name or a prominent family in Bartow County? Are there any Lumpkins that belong to this list. The reason I ask is that my gg uncle has the middle name of Lumpkin (Robert Lumpkin Parsons) and noone seems to know how his parents gave him this middle name. He was born in Cartersville around 1898; Just wondering. Anyone have any ideas? Regards Rose
