Someone just mentioned this museum for research using old newspapers. Has anyone ever visited this? Please share about your experience there and what materials you might have used there. ================ The Etowah Valley Historical Society has a ton of microfilms in their museum at the Gold Domed Courthouse on Cherokee St. In downtown Cartersville. They have Cartersville newspapers back to the 1850's starting in 1867 after the war. Most of the Bartow County Civil War Rosters; all of the pension records from the War, Cemetery readings and church histories, tax rolls from after the war; deeds, orphan court records, and all census records for Cass/Bartow County. ......
